This may be an unpopular opinion… but softball peeps — I know you’re grinding this summer, chasing goals, going to camps, etc. Just don’t forget to be a kid too. Go on that trip. Say yes to the sleepover. The grind is real — but so is being a kid. Don’t miss both.

Athletes please please please know you can ALWAYS find someone to reach out to. It’s perfectly fine to not feel okay at times. You do not have to take the world on by yourself. This is something I truly wish I would’ve realized as a student-athlete.
