It's not biphobic to hc Mike as gay when there are multiple evidences of him being uninterested in women. Biphobia would mean you're invalidating attraction to multiple genders for the sake of it, but that's not the case here. Y'all love to throw buzzwords around.

Can we all take a moment and consider that Mike was also just 12 when he met El? It’s not that far fetched to believe that he didn’t know he was gay yet, and he thought he liked El because society told him boys should like girls, only to realize when he got older that he does in fact not like girls

Bylers saying "Mike is canonically straight" is wild because actually, Mike is canonically so heavily queercoded that even a massive chunk of the ga interpreted the ending as byler endgame, and a lot of closeted queer people find this character relatable and comforting. And this subtwt is so quick to invalidate those people. Mike is very clearly written, directed and acted to be portrayed as queer. Just because he wasn't explicitly stated as queer does not undo five whole seasons of queercoding. The discourse about "stealing" Will's canon queer traits makes no sense because Mike's queerness doesn't take away from Will's. In fact, their sexualities are closely interwoven in the narrative of the show. Some of you treat Mike and Will as caricatures instead of characters.
