I would say to Tucker: Saying Muslims “love Jesus” depends entirely on which Jesus we’re talking about. Yes, Islam respects Jesus as a prophet. But the Bible makes it clear that honoring Him as only a man while rejecting who He truly is is not love at all. Scripture says, “Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father” (1 John 2:23), and Jesus Himself said, “If you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins” (John 8:24). The Jesus of the Bible is not just a prophet. He is the Son of God, crucified for our sins and risen again. That is the foundation of salvation. So while there may be respect for Jesus in Islam, it is not the same as loving the true Christ revealed in Scripture. Truth matters, especially when it comes to who Jesus is.
