Last September, Connor Fields signed a 5-year deal with the Knighthawks. Now we have Ryan Smith doing the same. This puts Fields and Smith in a position to cement themselves as one of the best duos to ever play in the NLL.

I’m hearing very positive news from multiple sources this morning regarding the future of Rochester Knighthawks. From what I’ve been told, the deal with Knighthawks new ownership is very close to being a done deal. This would keep the Knighthawks in Rochester. Understand that this is an evolving situation, but it sounds like things are looking good. I’ve heard that Commissioner Frood has been working tirelessly to positively resolve this situation. If and when the deal is finalized, this is a massive win for the commissioner and the league.
