@VBearington Ya I don’t think he was a breakout candidate, but w/ even nominal growth/improvement in year 2, he was a depth piece w/ speed & athleticism who was not overmatched in ACC play his 1st yr.
My bigger issue is whether Cal can land anyone who even helps them more bc of lack of NIL $

NEWS: Cal guard Semetri Carr is entering the transfer portal, source told @LeagueRDY. The 6-foot-1 guard out of Mill Valley, California is a former four-star recruit who played one season with the Golden Bears. He averaged 3.8PPG, 2.6RPG and 2.2APG as a freshman.

@zackiejoe I think Ruff and Bakare can give us enough depth behind Ross and Cooper. I’m also not a fan of Carr and think he actively hurt us last year so I was completely fine losing him.

@VBearington We have 2 legit guards, Ross and Cooper. Thats it, with Cooper more a 2 who can play the 1 in a pinch.
The rest are Indrusaitus, who’s more a 3, & couple of completely unproven 2G/wings in Ruff & Bakare.
This one really hurts the depth, IMO, which totally killed us last yr.
