Listened to Take On Me recently. Was jamming along thinking, dang, this song is way bouncier and more fun and better than I remembered it being. Then I realized I was listening to the @ReelBigFish cover. Fucking love a trumpet.

@doorisajar I guess that really depends. I know how to snowboard, but I can't teach people how to do it. I know how to speak Dutch, doesn't mean I can teach it in any way, shape or form.

I just learned that a dear friend in the UK has just died, killed by Covid. I'm really sad. I'm going to take a couple of days off social media. Please get vaccinated, if not for you for those who cannot.

What an awful take. I had to get over this is Netrunner. People can just... play. For fun. Not everything has to be a grind to the top.

The phrase “it’s just a game” is such a weak mindset. You are ok with what happened, losing, imperfection of a craft. When you stop getting angry after losing, you’ve lost twice. There’s always something to learn, and always room for improvement, never settle.
