A heartbreaking step closer to bringing Josh home Today we received the notification from the Coroner that our beautiful boy can finally be released back to us. We also received Josh’s interim death certificate. It is hard to describe the weight of this moment. Seeing his name on that document makes everything feel devastatingly real in a way nothing else has. Our son is gone. Today is a very emotional day for us as his mum and dad. We are one step closer to bringing Josh home to rest, but also one step deeper into the reality that we are now parents grieving a child instead of watching him live the life he was only just beginning. We miss him beyond words. We are holding onto the promise we made to him: that we will seek truth, accountability, and justice for our son. Every single pound donated to Josh’s fighting fund is helping us build his advocacy fund, to ensure his voice is heard and that the answers he deserves are pursued with strength and proper representation.
