📣Did you know @coolcats is doing something probably no other NFT project has done?They are publishing a manga IN Japan that will be distributed over 2500+ bookstores by one of the BIGGEST manga publishers in Japan👇MORE☛The manga began publication in July via the Comic DAYS platform☛This was the result of a collaboration between @San_FranTokyo and one of Japan's biggest publishers (books, manga) Kodansha☛By manga artist @summeryuma ☛Physical release will be available later this year in over 2,500 bookstores and over 70 online stores across Japan The last point is significant in that I haven't seen a single manga or book produced by an NFT project (including Japanese ones) get this wide of a distributionDid you know @coolcats is doing something probably no other NFT project has done? If this had happened in 2021-2022 it would have gotten major coverage both in English and Japanese language web3 media. Nevertheless, great to see the manga become a reality and get distribution outside of the web 3 bubble
📣WEB3 HELP ME DO SOMETHING AMAZING! Last year I walked from Kyoto to #Tokyo along the historic Tokaido Road in #Japan It's about 500 km/300 miles Took me 29 days Why so long? Because I'm legally blind I have no central vision I can't see street signs or people's faces I had to rely on my white cane, Google Maps and the help of strangers Every day I got lost and faced many difficulties but I did it 👉THIS OCTOBER THE JOURNEY WILL CONTINUE This year I will walk from Kyoto to Miyajima, a famous island off the Hiroshima coast Again, just me, my white cane, my phone and the help of people I meet along the way However... 👉I NEED SPONSORS Airfare from where I live in Hawaii to Japan, a month of lodging, food, gear and other expenses Doing a 30 day walk across Japan isn't cheap My goal is to raise at least $5000 So that's why I'm looking for sponsors 👉MY GOAL Three main goals 1️⃣Raise awareness of the blind and visually impaired in a fun and engaging way 2️⃣To produce fun and useful content (videos, etc) about Japan that both my web2 and web3 audience will enjoy 3️⃣Inspire and motivate 👉WHAT DO SPONSORS GET? 1️⃣I will be producing a series of videos (English) for my Japan focused YouTube channel. Sponsors will be presented as such in all these videos 2️⃣Sponsors would be featured in marketing material (posts, podcasts, spaces, etc) 3️⃣Totally open to discuss other options.
