JUST IN: Afroman drops a banger before the lawsuit against him goes to court Monday in Adams County, Ohio. Afroman just released “Batteram Hymns of the Police Whistle Blower” a day before the lawsuit heads to court. Adams County sheriffs are suing Joseph Foreman for defamation, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress for featuring them in his music videos from the night they raided and vandalized his house and allegedly stole $400. In the new song and video, he calls the deputies out by name, packed with videos photos from the raid and some AI to make it comical. Pretty ballsy.

NEW: Rapper Afroman is scheduled to stand trial in a civil lawsuit filed by seven Adams County (Ohio) Sheriff’s deputies.   The legal battle stems from a 2022 raid on Afroman's home, where officers were investigating alleged drug trafficking and kidnapping claims that resulted in no charges. Afroman used his own security footage from the raid to create music videos which mock the officers and the "botched" operation. The officers allege that Afroman used their personas for commercial profit without authorization, causing them "humiliation, ridicule, mental distress, and loss of reputation". They are seeking damages of $25,000 per count.

In 2021, I moved to Detroit with $2500, the last bit of money I had from scamming unemployment during COVID. My record label, Def Jam, just dropped me, my girlfriend of seven years left me for a peer, & my stepfather, who raised me since I was ten, died… “To my Name”

Not only is he one of the greatest American workers and promo guys of all time, but for all the talks about Dusty's physique, pay closer attention and ingnore any talk about his gut or whatever: -Dense shoulders -Thick, not just wide torso in the upper half -Thick traps and neck Dude is built like a truck, a bank vault. He's got the build of someone who can deadlift and bench a small car. The neck of a football lineman showing he can take a shot as well as give them. Dusty isn't built like the "Common man" but he is built like a dude who has worked with his hands, but is a walking anvil, and as dense as concrete - a dude you wouldn't want to rumble with. This is why everyone believed Dusty could be world champ and getting his hand raised, not just the promos and charisma. Everyone knew 1 or 2 people like this and has seen them tear a bar a part or been dropped by one after too many a beer back smart mouthed comment. No matter how worked it is, Pro Wrestling is real and the more real it is, the more people buy in.

If you a young Hip Hop head, I feel bad because you were not around for this. This was so devastating yet so important for artists, fans and every other person involved in Hip Hop at level. For those that were there, we remember this was literally when the game changed. This was a #SystemUpdate in and for the world. Not just Hip Hop, the world. The Feds and the record labels started to realize some things and they were right on the edge of being able to cash in on something new…but they weren’t able to make a clean transition into the new way of doing business in music with bootleg mixtapes being a huge and prevalent industry. The Feds got Drama and Cannon. Across ANY AND EVERY hood in the country, that mixtape spot we would visit as teenagers, multiple times a week (that normally had the infamous 3 ring binder full of low quality photocopy covers of the tapes for us to flip thru) to get the new Clue and Big Mike and P-Cutta and Kay Slay etc etc, they were GONE and now… …enter the NEW digital era. The Music Industry’s way of utilizing digital downloads, stepping on bootlegging with assistance from the Federal Gov. It’s deeper than what it sounds. Shit was forever changed. The system had updated right before our eyes. This right here was the infancy of what we now know as Streaming.

Underground rapper. No Grammies, no mainstream label push, just me and my lil team and prolly don’t know or never heard of me but I believe in the 1000 fan rule. If u have 1000 solid/dedicated fans, u can live off of your music. Social media tells u that if you aren’t Drake/ mainstream then u failed as a rapper which is totally false. Merch, shows, streams, features, etc…brings in a lot of money if you are consistent. 100k is nothing if you grind. Ask Larry June, Curren$y, Russ and LaRussell.
