The best thing the UK can do for it’s economy is find cheap and abundant energy. Unfortunately environmentally friendly energy tech is not there yet. Hopefully it will be in the future but that doesn’t solve the near term problem.
I agree on not outsourcing everything. What I don’t have an answer for is where to start.
