@mlduncan7 My dad is 92 and still golfs twice a week. My mom would too if she was a golfer. Being 80 doesn’t necessarily mean being old. Support them in what they can and want to do, that way they will be more trusting and cooperative when you suggest they cut back on a certain activity.

Serious question - how do you convince old people they're old? And by old I mean 80 plus. We are having some struggles with my husband's parents. They seem to think they can go and do and be like they were when they were 50. They can't. Trust me. How do we tell them to get real?
