Ive made replies to other people as to how other shells could be tuned, and I just put up a tweet summarizing what I think each shell needs whether it be buffs or nerfs. The reason I pair insults with my assassin criticism is because the people who play him come barreling in with toxicity regardless of what I say for even insinuating hes powerful in any capacity, and I refuse to be kind to people who on average are the most insufferable.

Okay so if I speak on balancing on any other character, the people who play them cheer in agreement but the moment I say anything about assassin I get a billion different people all being disgustingly toxic and abusive and very clearly strike a nerve with the unemployed overweight demographic. Got it.

This is the kind of difficulty/skill check I wanted to see in Marathon, and I hope Bungie don’t roll back on it and make it easier. If this is the level of maps we can expect in the future, this game will not be going anywhere but up

Why are people complaining about Cryo? It is the endgame of season 1 and of course not everyone will experience the final boss. It's supposed to be a challenge and hard. If you want to experience Cryo though as a casual to try and get good loot then try doing these things. Use the free kit they give you, which I hope they do this every weekend it is open. Do free kit runs this way you lose nothing. The best way to kit up for Cryo though is doing Rook runs on Outpost. Even if you can't 1v3 if you sneak around you can find good leftover stuff from eliminated runners. I have done a Rook run on Outpost and got a blue sniper , blue M77, blue backpack, and more in a single run. The season also lasts 3 months so you have plenty of time to at least experience the Cryo map a good amount of times. I play for a few hours at the least every day and I know I may not even be able to get to the Cryo boss and I am ok with it. I know it is a challenge to get there and that it will be that more meaningful if I even just get to that stage.

People really underscore how awful the IW challenge camos are Both the longshot and mounted kill challenges in MW19 and 22 were absolutely dreadful and it’s kinda sad that even the camo challenges catered around camping as if the regular gameplay didn’t do that already

I want to see an Ork in 40k that's actually obsessed with the Emperor and somehow ends up being one of his most faithful warriors despite nobody in the Imperium wanting it and actively hunting him. He just keeps travelling around smiting Chaos and the enemies of the Imperium, dressing and acting as his Paladin and claiming "Da Emprha is alwayz wiv me" and because his belief is so pure he is actually blessed.

Support roles across games have consistently been: - Framed as “helping” rather than “carrying” - Treated as less skilled or less important - More likely to get blamed, micromanaged, or disrespected Those patterns don’t come out of nowhere. They line up pretty closely with how people undervalue roles associated with care, support, and service in real life. Yes, game design matters. Yes, balance matters. But social conditioning shapes how players interpret and react to those mechanics. If you only look at this through a pure “skill issue vs. balance issue” lens, you’re choosing to ignore half the picture. The truth is, gaming culture has well-documented gender biases. Sexism doesn’t have to be explicit to influence behavior. It often shows up as patterns of expectation and disrespect.

I think having a mini map is super great to be able to read postions of you, teammates, and to try to predict spawns. But am I the only one who was indifferent to no red dots? It just didn't bother me not having them. I started COD back in 2007, and I enjoyed MW19 regardless the the minimap fiasco.

MW 2019 was the best COD of the last 8 or so years and arguably top 3 all time. Respectfully I don’t care about what the pro players thought of it. -Best SND we’ve ever seen -Sound + Aesthetics were S Tier -Gunplay might be the best we’ve ever had -Gunfight -Warzone Camping DEFINITELY was an issue, I’ll give you that. The game had some maps that were abysmally slow. BUT MW 2019 was literally a franchise revitalization moment for Call of Duty. It was grounded, it was gritty, and it reminded people of the old days of COD. After Infinite Warfare (2016), WWII (2017) and Black Ops 4 (2018)…and in the face of competition like Fortnite, PUBG, and Apex Legends dominating the streaming space… MW 2019 single handedly forced Call of Duty back to forefront of cultural relevance. I don’t give a shit if the game launched without red dots on the mini map, or Dead Silence being a field upgrade. Peanuts compared to what this game did for Call of Duty as a whole. MW 2019 gave COD a lifeline when it needed it most.
