🔥 Westwood High School is Doing It Right! 🔥 Yesterday the 20th of March 2026 I had the opportunity to visit Westwood High School, and I’ve got to say it was an incredible experience from the moment I walked through the doors. With the students and a beautiful, modern facility, Westwood is creating an environment where students are not only learning but preparing for real life. What stood out the most were the Fire Management and Health / Sports Medicine programs. These students aren’t just sitting in a classroom they’re gaining hands-on experience and exposure to real-world careers in a state of the art facility. That’s how we build the next generation of professionals right here in our community. Walking through the hallways, you could feel it: ✔️ Students were respectful, polite, and engaged ✔️ Teachers were actively interacting with students between classes ✔️ The culture felt positive, welcoming, and focused It’s always encouraging to see that kind of environment in our schools. Then @MrsTNicholson and I experienced special moment happen in real time… 👀 A student received a full ride scholarship offer while we were talking about the great things happing at Westwood. I’m going to hold off on sharing details until everything is finalized but it’s moments like that remind you just how much potential is walking these halls every single day. Westwood High School is a shining example of what’s possible when strong leadership, dedicated teachers, and motivated students come together.
