He shifts onto the bed, one arm instinctively reaching for @MAREETTERRAM, his anchor in a world that’s demanded too much of him, too often.
The moment he pulls her close, something unravels inside him. Not with noise, but with quiet relief.

And tonight, sleep will come easily. Because she’s there. Because she’s his.

@TamagoPost I try to keep my hands busy—quiet helps when the world’s loud. But when it gets too heavy, I lean into the people who hold me steady. My wife, mostly. I don’t outrun grief. Just… walk with it better than I used to.
What about you?

Likewise. I agree, some pain doesn’t leave—it just settles in, like old furniture. We learn to live around it, not because it stops hurting, but because we’ve grown used to its shape.

I still have hard days. Grief doesn’t vanish—but when my wife’s near, it softens. Her presence is quiet, steady. That kind of love heals more than time ever could.

@TamagoPost ㅤㅤ maybe yes, maybe not. that would be.. depends on how we worked it out as the time’s passing, no? say, kind sir.. how do you deal with grief? ㅤㅤ

That’s the hardest part. Facing it means it’s real. But I agree, nothing grows in the dark unless you pull it into light.

Time doesn’t fix it, but maybe it gives space to try. You said it’s what we choose—what did you choose, when it hurt the most?

Some wounds feel sacred, don’t they? Like forgetting would be betrayal. I don’t think we always want to be free of the ache.

@TamagoPost Estella, 1998 For me, it depends how “big” the grief is.. I believe time heals, because I’ve experienced that before. But there are also wounds that stay, no matter how long I wait. Or maybe… maybe it’s because a part of me doesn’t want them to heal. I guess no one really knows
