Wombat Joey Alert - Kangaroo Valley A female wombat was killed this morning on 108 Moss Vale Road outside the canoe rental. Mum had a Joey following her which was seen running and hiding in bushes. Call WRSC on 0418 427 214 s It can’t survive more than a few weeks alone.

This is the reality of climate change. Some of the 3,000 dead Grey-headed Flying-foxes (threatened species) killed by heat stress in Kangaroo Valley last weekend.

Today we went back to Kangaroo Valley at 7 a.m. to help remove the bodies from 2 churches, the school, and some private land. We left around 2 p.m. This was one tree inside the school yard. @wildliferescuesc This is the coal face of the #climateemergency. instagram.com/p/B8DQ-FvgMAv/…
