People argue banning phones in schools is ‘too far’. But if those same phones are being used to watch violent content or even plan serious harm… at what point do we step in?

If banning phones in schools reduces knife crime risk, why are we even debating it? Children’s safety should come before arguments about ‘overreach’.

I’ve seen the news about UK schools banning phones. Having spent a few minutes browsing social media today, may I humbly suggest extending the ban to include everyone under the age of 90?

The worst thing that happened to this country was the construction of the Channel Tunnel but then again who was in charge when it was happening. Says it all really.

@sophielouisecc I was born in 1988 went to school when discipline was discipline. There’s absolutely no discipline in schools in 2026. The evidence shows this. You need to do research. Please understand that gang violence is the biggest cause of knife crime but you say that it’s not correct

If you’re a company as massive as @ArlaFoodsUK and your paying farmers peanuts to bottle milk for you then you should hang your heads in shame. Day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year and farmers, the ones that give us food are still being treat like 💩

So £70K a year sounds like a lot of money but when you’re paying nearly half this on a mortgage and then have other stuff to pay for it doesn’t go far but in the words of Sophie Corcoran it’s “greedy” because tube drivers are striking over safety critical issues
