Some people are skeptical about Isengard's army at Helm's Deep. "Why bring pikemen to a siege?" Consider the following points: 1- Rohan is a land of cavalrymen. Being attacked on your way to the siege or riders sallying out (which happens in the movie) are real possibilities. 2- Pikes are GREAT at attacking breaches once walls are undermined, and were used for this purpose during the renaissance (this happens in the movie). 3- We see at least 2 kinds of specialised uruk hai swordsmen (berserkers with two handers and sword and shield infantry) amongst the ranks of the army. When you add in the dedicated sappers, shield bearers, crossbowmen and artillery men, Id say besides bringing some cavalry to support them, this is a perfectly reasonable fantasy army.

@gajpmd45219 そうとも言い切れないんすよね… 槍が合戦において大規模に用いられていたのは短期間である程度習得が可能だった事も一因として挙げられるので。 人によって武器には適正があるので、刀が得意な人は最初から刀のみで敵まで接近する例が結構見られます。

あとあれやな…現代人の悪い所で、『平均的』という言葉に縛られ過ぎて、個人間の武器の得手不得手を完全に無視してる事が多い。

中谷の前手、懐の深いスタンスを井上はどう攻略するのか？と楽しみにしてましたが、蓋を開けてみれば異常な速さのステップイン・ステップアウト、さらに打った後の超低いウィービング等で中谷相手に完全に「打って打たせない」をやってのけていて圧巻でしたね...ジャブの差し合いでも普通に勝ってたし
