The government sending in the guards at 4am on Sunday morning to frighten and intimidate these men as they slept in their lorries was an absolute and total disgrace.
They completely cooperated with the guards all week and would have left O’Connell Street straight away if they had been asked to do so. Full episode out tomorrow. @PaulTreyvaud

NEW: Fianna Fáil Senator Joe Flaherty has called on Micheál Martin to apologise for the government’s actions of the last week, saying the Government had “lost the people we serve and claim to defend and that is reprehensible on us as public representatives”.
Senator Flaherty served as TD for Longford-Westmeath between 2020-2024.

@joefla We also need an Emergency response to housing. Building 300k houses in 5 years while taking in 625k immigrants has already failed. Between 1m & 2m Irish have been affected. That's where the real anger is. British Colonial policies against the Irish failed in the past & will again
