We often find covers or wraps on water filters as soon as a family has a filter installed in their home. Families cover their water filters in order to protect it from dust and the elements, and to preserve it for long-term use.

Before, during, and after a water project is underway, our team conducts interviews with locals to capture what data and numbers can't capture. We ask about one's experience with their access to water to understand where we've improved, and what we can continue to improve.

A 15-minute reduction in water collection time increases the proportion of girls attending school by 8-12 percent. #Cleanwater drastically impacts women and young girl's ability to pursue education. It's the first step in building a better future.

Meet Fidelis, the Water Committee President in Mundame, Cameroon. Fidelis is responsible for overseeing all of the members of the Water Committee and making sure that they are completing their weekly and monthly tasks.

Conducting an in-person quality check of a community’s water system is a crucial measure to ensure that the infrastructure of a system is high-quality and durable and to provide feedback to the project’s engineers.
