ALERT: Teens sentenced for manslaughter after texting someone they believed to be a p*dophile, luring him to meet up, and attacking him.
Alexander Cashford, 49, met a 16-year-old girl who was on vacation in an arcade in Leysdown, England.
After exchanging numbers, the group she was with believed Cashford was a p*dophile and plotted to attack him.
Using a fake name, Sienna, they messaged with and lured Cashford to a beach, where they brutally attacked him and even hit him with rocks and a bottle.
Cahsford was found lying face down on the beach, suffering multiple injuries, including fractured ribs and a collapsed lung.
One of the defendants said he believed he did the right thing when asked about the attack. When asked why he felt this way, he responded, “Because I feel like the police wouldn’t have done anything.”
The girl, 16, and a boy, 15, who cannot be named because they are not 18, were acquitted of murder but will be sentenced for manslaughter.
