I thought my depression was gone because I was financially stable until a single convo with family threw me all the way off.

unpopular opinion but a lot of “mental health issues” disappear when bills are paid, rent is secure, and the fridge is full. peace is expensive and pretending money doesn’t affect mental health is privilege.

You don't even have to leave your comfort zone when something is meant for you, but you do have to open your mouth and speak to people --and not be afraid to say what you need.

I landed my job because I met the right person who happened to have the right pull. I don't even believe I was qualified *on paper*. My resume alone would have never gotten me hired. I was just in the right place at the right time and said the right thing to the right person.
