They''re not asylum seekers- they're scammers. If they pass through Mexico on their way here without claiming asylum, they're barred from receiving asylum in the U.S. Asylum is just the pretext they used to slip into this country and then evade deportation as long as they can.

At my local liberal elite coffee shop a millennial woman is in tears because she can’t afford private school tuition. She’s on speakerphone so everyone hears. She qualifies for food stamps. She is an immigrant and a lesbian. Everyone is waiting for her to get off the phone to console her. OK. BUT… she just spent $3,000 on airline tickets for a vacation and booked $400 meal one of the nights. And summer camp for her kids while she goes. Every millennial I know is absolutely addicted to travel to foreign nations. WTF. They talk about it like it’s a human right. Why the F can’t she put her kids into her Subaru and drive them to Florida like a normal person? Or the thousands of great coastal vacation spots between Bar Harbor Maine and Key West. Why is nobody suggesting this to her? And it’s not just her. My millennial friends who have money are constantly jumping on planes overseas. Like if they go more than two months without travel they start freaking out. I’m generation x. I don’t get it. Someone please explain this to me in crayons. I mean I love traveling too but holy crap does it get expensive fast. Are these people all just in crazy debt?

Chloe woke up at 6:45am and immediately felt proud of herself. She had, after all, not eaten a single animal product in four years. The planet was healing. She could feel it. 6:52am - Applied her morning SPF. The SPF contains beeswax. Chloe does not know this. Moving on. 7:10am - Breakfast: a smoothie containing avocado. The avocado was grown in Michoacán, Mexico, on land where a pine forest was until 2019. It required approximately 320 litres of water to produce. It was flown to the UK. Chloe sprinkled hemp seeds on top. The hemp seeds came from China. Chloe felt connected to the earth. 8:00am - Got dressed. Polyester leggings, derived from crude oil. A bamboo top that was processed using carbon disulphide in a Taiwanese chemical plant. Trainers with a recycled plastic upper that sheds microplastics into waterways with every wash. Chloe's outfit today had a higher carbon footprint than a ribeye steak. Chloe does not know this either. 9:30am - Posted on Instagram about choosing compassion. The phone was manufactured in a Shenzhen factory using cobalt from the DRC, where mining operations have displaced local communities and killed an unknowable number of small mammals, reptiles, and insects. The algorithm served Chloe an ad for oat milk. Chloe liked it. 12:00pm - Lunch: tofu stir-fry. The soy was grown in Brazil. Brazil produces more soy than almost any country on earth. The primary reason is soybean oil: one of the most widely used industrial and culinary oils on the planet. The soymeal left over after oil extraction is fed to livestock as a byproduct. Chloe is aware of the livestock connection and finds it outrageous. She has not looked into why the soy was grown in the first place. The answer is the oil. The oil is in her salad dressing. 1:30pm - Drove to the garden centre. The car runs on petrol. Chloe has a Just Stop Oil sticker on the bumper. This is not being commented on further. 3:00pm - Bought a monstera. The monstera was grown in a Dutch greenhouse using natural gas heating. Chloe put it next to the pothos that is slowly poisoning the neighbourhood cats. 6:00pm - Dinner: pasta with cashew cream sauce. The cashews were processed in Vietnam, often by workers in conditions that would prompt significant commentary if they were in an abattoir. 8:00pm - Watched a documentary about factory farming. Wept. Posted about it. Caption: "We have to do better." Chloe is, by every measure she has chosen to measure by, doing brilliantly. By some of the others, the picture is more complicated. Chloe has not chosen to measure by those.

Says the party of violence (burning cities, taking over college campuses, keying Teslas, burning Tesla properties, killing Charlie Kirk, two assassination attempts on Trump and so much more). From what I can see, I should be MUCH more afraid of you mentally ill, violent misfits than you should be of any law abiding, common sense non-democrat. BTW-I am NOT a Republican.

If Scott Jennings were doing what Miles claims, the footage would have leaked. What is actually happening is Scott Jennings got the better of Miles Taylor and, like Michael Douglas's son, Miles is now melting down over becoming a punchline.
Miles Taylor@MilesTaylorUSA

You know who’s a perfect metaphor for the GOP? Scott Jennings. A pundit who mocks Trump with us during commercial breaks — but fawns over Trump when the camera is rolling. Brave enough to speak out… in the green room.

How do you react when a Senate Democrat says that noncitizen voting in the U.S. is “very, very, very, very, very, very, very rare”? My reaction in a nutshell: They have NO IDEA how common or rare it is because the status quo makes knowing that impossible

"Embarrassment and reputational harm"? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 The more we see of these incredibly brave, smart and based Patriots, the more we love them. This is the best free, life-promoting stuff imaginable. You're looking at America's future leaders.

A federal judge is allowing the release of deposition videos of two former DOGE staffers, ruling that the risk of "embarrassment and reputational harm" is not enough to overcome the public interest in the videos. abcnews.link/P1xYZ26

When someone cites anonymous Middle East "allies" with the intention of undermining the commander-in-chief during a military operation, you should treat it with the same skepticism as you would a doctor who can't tell you what a woman is. cc: @TheJusticeDept @AGPamBondi

Great question. District court in Tazwell already ruled against this for multiple infringements, but Virginia Supreme Court would not stay the referendum. Instead they decided to rule AFTER the election. Remember judges on Va Supreme Court are appointed by legislature for 12 year terms. A few judges are up in the next couple years. Too much CyA instead of doing the right thing.

I learned this earlier today... Virginia Code § 30-19.9 states that ballot explanations must be written in plain English, must be neutral, and must not include arguments from either side. In other words, the wording presented to voters is not supposed to persuade, influence, or push voters toward a yes or no vote — it is supposed to simply explain what the amendment does. If we are going to follow the Constitution and the law, then the rules should apply to everyone — including the people writing the ballot questions. Neutral means neutral. Not persuasive. Not political. Not biased. Just the facts so the voters can decide. Official wording of the redistricting amendment is... “Should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections, while ensuring Virginia’s standard redistricting process resumes for all future redistricting after the 2030 census?” Does that sound neutral, non-persuasive, non-influential? Since this ballot question goes against current law, can Virginians sue to have it removed/overturned??? Any lawyers want to weigh in on this?

LOL -- talk about branding "Stupid" on your forehead. And Sessions didn't appoint Mueller, Rod Rosenstein did. Sessions recused himself from all matters involving the FBI's Russia investigation in February 2017. How many Russians did Mueller convict?
Tim Miller@Timodc

This is crazy. Trumps 1st endorser Jeff Sessions appointed Mueller!! He indicted 25 Russians. The report was so straightforward the GOP senate report echoed it. Then he retired and went back to private life. For this he deserves the president grave dancing on him? Trash.

And our allies tonight even told me in meetings that because Donald Trump keeps shifting his objectives —” Scott Jennings: “Who was it?” Miles Taylor: “I'll tell you when the president tells us who he's negotiating with…” Scott Jennings: “So, you're claiming you had high level conversations with other countries tonight.” Miles Taylor: “I talk to people from the region all the time, Scott.” Scott Jennings: “The region or with the government?” OBLITERATED!

RAW VIDEO: From today’s presser with Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson. Outrage is exploding across Chicago over the murder of Loyola freshman Sheridan Gorman. A young woman is dead. Her family is grieving. This city is demanding answers. Today I asked the Mayor a simple question: After saying Chicago is safe, will you apologize to Sheridan Gorman's family? He refused — and got angry that it was even asked. Then his staff tried to shut me down. This isn’t the first time I’ve asked him about other violent crimes involving illegal aliens. Same response: no answers. Dismissive. Tone deaf. Mayor Johnson has still yet to issue a statement on Sheridan's death. Governor Pritzker didn’t issue one either — until he was forced to. Meanwhile, Johnson has spentmillions of Chicago taxpayer dollars on illegal aliens in Chicago — but when tragedy hits home, the silence is deafening. No apology. No answers. No accountability. Chicago is outraged — and demanding better.
