Both Cam and Mark are class acts & thanks for coming on. No doubt both put a huge amount of work into making what seemed like a pipe dream a reality. So excited to watch their progress from afar & revisit an arena I used to love going to in my Wildthing days.

@Mike85Hill @c_bezzz Totally agree. 5k they would piss that. Yes you probably need maybe few 1000 tickets to cover rent compared to free in a 3k facility but then after that it’s all gravy. Nobody would have ever imagined Nottingham would get 7k when they used to have 2.8k in that dump

If they get this right this move has catapulted Storm from being a bottom feeder to potentially the biggest club in the league. If it works Cardiff will have to move heaven & earth to somehow get in the new arena to keep up top 4

@FinMorrison My understanding is it’s private equity from Live Nation & Ticketmaster but I haven’t really dug into that I’m just delighted the city has finally got a top class arena as the city centre one is looking old now & not big enough

@c_bezzz Yeah true but when Storm were in ISL a lot of Devils went there not just under JL. I really hope they can get in there in the future as the club is way too big now to be limited to 3k plus

@WildthingJ74 I dont think that will have to be the case pal. We have always competed since we moved to the IAW/Vindico. We seem to attract top players because of good recruitment & that club treats them well.
I bet £££ spent on wages per 🏆 won is far less than the big clubs imo

@shellybeans20 I mean the arena in the city very few not IAW will likely go. It’s great news for you guys and I can’t see how any hockey fan can’t be delighted it’s always the best arena in the league by a country mile

Not much I've not done to help out my club. Player pick ups. Program writing. Co Comms. Rink announcer. Goal judge. Podcasts. Signing announcements(we smashed that). Multiple years of @CovBlazeLive. But I'm going back to being a fan. Which means I can argue with you all now.💙

@M_Phillips62 Surely with the biggest or maybe second biggest arena in the league they could reduce prices as they don’t have the argument about limited capacity forcing the price increase

@WildthingJ74 My immediate thoughts were I hope this is a massive success because imagine the argument the club could make to the council in a few years time. Especially when the Bristol arena is open and they could do with the regular booking 🤞🏻
