Pay to play is the line that should keep every US soccer parent up at night. In Spain, a talented 10-year-old gets developed regardless of family income. In the US, that same kid might never get seen because their parents can't afford $3,000/season club fees. We're not losing the talent war on the field. We're losing it at the registration desk.



















I believe soccer is still the most undervalued property in all of sports. The next generation fan is younger, more diverse, and already deeply bought in. And the World Cup is only going to accelerate their fandom.
