@SydneyLWatson @PeninsulaBoy217 Both weld mesh and chicken wire work but the hole size depends on what specific animals you're looking to keep out: 31mm should be enough for rabbits, but you do need denser mesh for squirrels, voles, mice and smaller rodents, around 13mm holes. Riprap is usually even less expensive and works well for minor erosion or slower-moving water, while gabions provide more strength for steep slopes and faster flows.
