Being hyper-local is always a good marketing technique. June may be Pride Month, but in Central Alberta, Pride happens August 6-12, so if you're adding rainbows to your logos for June and are in central Alberta, plan ways to mark the local events as well as the national ones. 🌈

Friendly reminder to fellow logo and brand identity designers: Outline your strokes before you send that final logo to your clients.

I've been told by a few people that they are always looking for stock photos of Red Deer & central Alberta. If I were to put together a stock photo set, or have individual photos for sale, what would your go-to, must-have photos be...and what would you be willing to pay for them?

Today, many businesses will add rainbows to their logos for #PrideMonth. Consider if they're genuinely doing it to promote inclusivity, just for quick sales, or just because they think they should. Symbolism in a logo should be followed through with action.
