The street closed in around him. In fear for his life, instinct overtook hesitation. He accelerated and struck an obese rioter, killing her. The ADL and SPLC vilified him relentlessly, pressing for the death penalty and going so far as to speciously link the incident to “terror attacks on Israel.” His trial was a mockery, a political lynching; he was condemned to two life sentences without the possibility of parole, and an additional 419 years! What was clearly self-defense was transformed into a Stalinist show trial. James’s punishment was dictated by politics and symbolism rather than “justice.” It was intended as a warning to Whites, especially young White men, that any assertion of their group’s distinct collective interests will not be tolerated by the state. That this young man remains in prison today is a national disgrace and a travesty of justice. Pardon James Alex Fields.
