Just a quick post today to say that I finally had time to debug the issue on Mac and Linux with my EarthMeshHoudini plugin (github.com/xjorma/EarthMe…), which allows downloading world meshes from Google Earth directly in Houdini.

As suggested by Someone I created a XR Pane. The idea is to cast the Blender screen onto a VR display, replacing the standard flat "3D viewport" with a true 3D view of the object in XR. It's more of a proof of concept than anything, code: github.com/xjorma/Houdini…

This is the Meta Quest version of MeshSync, which now also supports Blender. Since, it's not possible to cast your PC screen and run applications on the Meta Quest, I had to integrate screen sharing directly into my app. lnkd.in/endk_rHn #MetaQuest #houdini #blender #vr
