@XskullwormX I'd understand if they said like, I can't have an opinion of how it feels to play on specific hardware... but they are saying just the game in general. That's insane. Even buying pretty recent consoles in good condition is expensive. Plus you gotta store all this stuff.

@Arrownaut1 I fear they're only winning on all sides because they've conditioned people to play into that, people could easily not buy the solution they're selling, but the idea of not getting to experience something seems to be worse than death to some

@XskullwormX The way that isn't curing it but feeding it. If I create a war, sell the weapons for both sides, and also am in charge of the relief work, some campaigns and stopping it when it's no longer profitable, I win every way. They play all they angles

I like how even though its made by an Australian production team I believe, we get nothing and will just be spoiled

@XskullwormX It shouldn't be this way. This is how capitalism gets worse. This is how you rob people and thrive on desperation. A good money and fame maker, but morally? I don't support it. FOMO in a mortal world, in a world racing for your death, sucks. You should be able to pace yourself

@Arrownaut1 Glitch are only producers at the end of the day though u have to remember, they give creators with potential the means and ability to fulfill their vision but they can't artificially cultivate success, or even 100% control how a team tackles translating the concept

@XskullwormX I'd disagree. We have: A 3 Season TV show that's amateur. A spinoff to their SMG4 meme posts. 2 Pilots to unconfirmed shows. And 2 pretty successful short series. You gotta have more than that I'm afraid. Pixar only got their foot in the door because of Disney.

@Arrownaut1 I don't disagree, but i do also simultaneously think it (especially this finale) has also branched into something that is more than fitting and deserving of something big like this

@XskullwormX Not to say it isn't great but TADC is very 'silly web stuff' coded. It isn't the most serious or mature of series. Courage the Cowardly Dog is scarier and child friendly media tackles really mature content. Yet they aren't ashamed of it. TADC has a huge immature audience.

@Arrownaut1 They have been working on growing their brand tho, they have and are still planning to release tons of shows but this is the closest they've gotten to the kind of success that affords them these opportunities. The show is ending so at least for tadc it's now or never hahah

@XskullwormX They caught lightning in a bottle sure, but its just that. I'd say its better to grow your brand before doing this since it isn't going to be revolutionary. I think that's so presumptuous and a bit haughty as if other indie studios haven't before and faded back into being unseen

@Arrownaut1 People love going to the cinema tho, whilst I see the overall benefit to it and all, what ACTUALLY excites me is the idea of getting to experience that. The cool thing they're doing is working on offering that to people

@XskullwormX I guess sacrificing your fans' goodwill for a crack at an industry change hard coded to favour the Hollywood elites is well worth it. This doesn't sound like a net positive at all. Even to the Japanese where them making it a cultural icon is rewarded with 1 showing in 1 theatre
