If you think Capcom is messy, wait until you learn about literally every other gaming company. I forget who said it, but a quote that stuck with me is about how it's a miracle any good AAA games come out at all, if people had any idea how hard & chaotic game development is.

@elhamfahim03 @ra7roobfar @AestheticGamer1 Yes. We could assume the North American Branch was behind the fiasco at the end of Village. Also we have story dlc to tie the rest of Requiem up. So that’s why not everything is answered yet. I heard we get two story DLCs.

Also Sherry mentioned in the game that the north american BSAA branch was operating independently…so there are also split

All that's confirmed right now for Resident Evil Requiem's post-launch support is there will be a photo mode update in the near future, there will be a "mini-game" update releasing in May, & there's a story expansion DLC in the works for later down the line.

Remaking 7 and 8 sounds bizarre. Best to finish remaking everything 6 and earlier including spinoffs hopefully.

@AestheticGamer1 @gabriel_org I think it's overkill. The whole point of remakes is to bring the series up to date for new fans, and above all, to standardize the saga on the RE Engine. Remaking it in the same engine wouldn't make sense. It's better to give it a major remaster, almost like a Director's Cut

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Resident Evil series, Capcom has announced a new 46-centimeter Nemesis statue. The set includes an interchangeable head by the Tyrant's classic look, along with extra arms. The release is scheduled for December 10, 2026. Pre-orders have already launched in Japan, with the figure priced at 49,478 yen.

You should play Operation Javier in Darkside Chronicles, it's a very underrated Resident Evil story. One of my personal favorites.

(1/2) Seriously, Resident Evil Requiem is doing the numbers Capcom was hoping that Resident Evil 6 would do back in 2012. I'm sure they're absolutely celebrating, & wouldn't be surprised if Requiem's performances was seen as clearing a milestone for RE internally, to push forward
