While we get on with our Big Housing Build, we’re also doing things like buying former retirement villages and hotels to get more Queenslanders into homes sooner. It’s why we’ve bought this vacant retirement village in Logan.

YFS workers are at the Jimboomba Community Recovery Hub to support people impacted by the storms. It has been inspiring to see the community come together to help people who are left without power or worst case without homes.

We agree with @AnnastaciaMP, nothing is more important than having a roof over your head. Every day we hear from clients in Logan and surrounding areas who have nowhere to go. We welcome the announcement of a Housing Summit and look forward to seeing real actions, fast.
