@vkhosla Great point. There is a fine nuance between telling people to invest in smart fundamentals and telling them to steer clear. It'll be obvious who understands the AI landscape best when the hype bubble bursts.

This headline doesn't quite capture it -- I caveated the hypothesis that most venture investments will lose money with the point that MORE money will be made than lost, in total. This wasn't a call to not invest in what is now a very frenzied space, but rather to invest in it judiciously. We avoid the hype. We stress test the fundamentals. That's what it means to have a deeply technical bench that's been in AI way before it was cool.

.@databricks is expected to be the largest enterprise tech IPO in over a decade. As one of the earliest investors, we are excited to share the inside story of how they got here and where they are going.
