my mom grew up listening to michael jackson in the 80s, in pakistan, during a time where streaming platforms didnt exist and even CDs were rare. she told me that they'd buy one song at a time and everyone in their neighborhood would listen together. so yes, he is.

Is Michael Jackson really bigger than Eminem, Jay z, Lil Wayne, Taylor swift, Rihanna and Beyonce all put together?

Whenever this subject comes up, people like to pretend there aren’t women who are male-centred enough to give their friends far less grace than they give their foolish men. “I gave you many chances; I just didn’t tell you or confront you about it.” Oh, but you loved your shit ex enough to confront them and give them the grace of multiple conversations. So why didn’t you do that with your friends?

Friendship breakups are funny because you gave your ex 27 chances but not me. 😭

The man vs bear argument has been upgraded to man vs lion. A 13-year-old girl in Ethiopia was abducted and abused by a group of men but was rescued by lions when they heard her crying and protected her until the police came. A literal wild animal saved a girl from.... MEN.

sometimes people say the whole "abusive men lie about their personality so women fall in love with them" but can i also say that women are all coerced from life to downplay red flags. some men do not hide they're bad people but also as a woman you're expected not be too "judgy".

Thats why rapes are rare in China. The courts dont say "every sinner has future". Life imprisonment for juvenile. If he was adult, would have been executed publically. Also justice within few months. Adult cases get justice in weeks in majority of the cases.

Smart people aren’t aggressive, they’re OBSERVANT. they let you talk , reveal yourself, cross lines, and expose motives, then they ACT once they know exactly who you are.

My dad called periods disgusting. My little brother shut him down in one sentence. My brother asked me what periods were like because one of his friends had just gotten hers and he didn’t want to make it awkward for her. So I explained it. Cramps, hormones, chocolate, the basics. From the other room, my dad yelled, “Stop talking about that disgusting shit. Men don’t need to know women’s business.” Before I could say anything, my little brother looked at him and said, “No wonder mom left you.” Silence. My dad turned around and walked out like he’d just been unplugged. Then my brother looked back at me and went, So… chocolate, right?

Women who say “no” and secretly mean “try harder” jeopardize the safety and image of all women. Why dilute the strength of your word in a world where we’re already not taken seriously? Why reward men for being rapey, entitled, stalkers? I can’t stand it.

You aren’t going to be able to maintain long term relationships, platonic or romantic if you aren’t prepared to talk about what’s bothering you and give people a chance to address and fix it. Nor give them the chance to tell you when you do something to them.

I hate when someone tries to strong arm me into giving them grace. You gotta let me decide that. Don't do something to me and then gaslight me into seeing it from your perspective. A lot of people do that shit and i find it wildly audacious
