1971 Kalaignar was the CM who actually formed the Sattanathan Commission and implemented the 49% quota. MGR was an MLA. Giving MGR credit for Kalaignar’s CM policies just because he 'was in the party' is wild logic 👍☺️ 1980 MGR didn't hike it to 68% out of love for social justice; it was pure damage control. he actually tried to REMOVE reservations for BCs earning over ₹9k/year in 1979. He got absolutely thrashed in the 1980 LS elections for it, panicked, scrapped his own rule, and blindly hiked it to 50% to save his vote bank. 1989 That 'just 1%' Kalaignar did was actually the creation of the 20% MBC/DNC quota. Because of MGR's blind 50% hike, advanced communities were hogging all the seats. Kalaignar stepped in and restructured it so the most marginalized communities actually got representation. Reservation isn't just a volume contest to see who can increase the number the highest. it's about targeted, systematic representation which Kalaignar engineered perfectly. That's the visionary planning you guys miss.

Nothing stops us, every year budget for education in TN is the highest among any state. We are in pursue of excellence, Pyramid cannot be built overnight .

Before commenting, read all 96 pages of the TVK manifesto to understand their plans for managing funds and increasing revenue, then discuss with clarity.
