Over the past few months, I realized I used over 10 DeFi protocols to seek yield on my crypto holdings. Due to my preference for low-risk profit, I researched extensively and discovered hundreds of DeFi platforms offering yield. APYs vary, and I regretted not investing in some platforms after choosing popular ones. However, these DeFi platforms span multiple chains, creating a significant barrier to Web3 onboarding for the masses. A typical Web2 user entering the crypto world by buying Bitcoin and seeking profit through DeFi may feel discouraged and confused about choosing the best platform. What if there were a solution - a unified platform featuring DeFi protocols and offering optimal yield for users like you? What if a platform addressed this crypto onboarding fragmentation? In the last three months, I devised a solution: @YieldStark, a unified dashboard to earn yield on your Bitcoin across chains and protocols. We’re currently in the testnet phase and will soon launch a testnet campaign on @Starknet, exploring Bitcoin yield on platforms like @vesuxyz and @EkuboProtocol. Yesterday someone lost $50M in a single swap on Ethereum. A $50.4M USDT-to-AAVE trade routed through a pool with $36K of liquidity. An MEV bot spotted it in the public mempool, backran it, and extracted $9.9M in profit. All in the same block. With lightweight L3s and client-side proving, large trades can run through private execution environments where counterparties compete to fill orders before they ever touch an AMM. You prove correct execution with a ZK proof, settle back to Starknet, and nobody gets to front-run you along the way. Shielded price discovery instead of pool-draining slippage. Single-threaded blockchains with public mempools are an open buffet for MEV. The architecture has to change. We're building the one that does.

Zcash makes you scan every single transaction to find your own notes. Tornado Cash locks you into fixed denominations. Neither has any real compliance story. Starknet's new privacy protocol is trying to fix all of that at once👇 What it actually does: > Hides sender, receiver, and amount using client side ZK proofs > Note discovery scales with your own activity, not the entire pool > Compliance built in from day one, not added on top > Anonymous AMM swaps work atomically without a temp public account The compliance design is the interesting part. Viewing keys are encrypted to an auditing entity at registration, so regulators can trace a specific user without touching anyone else's privacy. That's the piece that makes @Starknet actually usable for institutions, not just crypto natives🔥
