@NBAGeneralist_ Not likely unless Ayton/smart opt out and we dump Dalton and maybe Vando.
English

Probably play-in level. That perimeter defense is porous. And JJJ/Lauri/Kessler* are injury prone or are coming off a major injury.

Next season, fully healthy and with a Top 3 Draft Pick… The Utah Jazz will have a Top __ starting lineup in the West? 🧐 #NBA
English

@ChristopherRuiz Exactly. If we can use our FRP, and buy in to get a pick in the 30s, those players along with Thiero/Kobe/*Bronny is a cheap way to fill out the roster.
English

@Yinoma2001 The salary cap is such where you have to start hitting on picks year after year.
English

@awriterjbrady I don't think we can get another FRP. But I would do what we did for Thiero. Pay max cash and get in the 30s.
English

@Yinoma2001 I'm so fond of this year's class, I'm hoping the Lakers get creative and manage to find a way to get one additional pick in this year's First Round Draft Class so that we can have two prospects to work with and develop. Morez, Krivas, Ngongba, Evans and Swain would all be killer.
English

@JohnDoewzmc @chips_and_kso If a non-shooter, want someone who can set great screens and roll to the rim as a legit lob threat. Hopefully switchable on the perimeter and a rim protector.
English

@Yinoma2001 @chips_and_kso He can’t shoot but the lakers aren’t gonna get a stretch big man who’s shooting can provide more value than chinyelus defense + rebounding. Perfect pick for their range imo
English

@chips_and_kso Oh nice. Excellent measurements. How is his offense? Can he shoot at all?
English

@Yinoma2001 Center for sure, not even that small? He’s 6’10 with a massive wingspan. Incredible lateral quickness, tenacious rebounder. The biyombo comp is common and I get it, though I think Chinyelu should provide more offensively as a rim runner. Excellent sealer too.

English

@bstonercpa Yeah, Hayes/Len were overmatched. I think with Ayton, we would have won last year. This year Ayton has played well enough against Minny where the Gobert advantage is no longer present.
English

@Yinoma2001 Agreed - with home court and the Wolves not as good as last year (losing NAW hurt) and the fact that we have two centers this year as opposed to none last year, I like our chances in a 7 game series.
English

@chips_and_kso Rueben Chinyelu, I want to see him more. Would he be a PF/small ball center in the NBA?
English

@Yinoma2001 Florida for either Rueben Chinyelu or Tommy Haugh. Both great fits.
English

@BohuslavskaKate If weapons stocks were depleted, why did you launch a war against Iran? BS.
English

Hegseth: "We're still dealing with the environment Joe Biden created—depleting our stockpiles and sending them to Ukraine instead of our own military. Every time we face a challenge, it traces back to 'Well, sent it to Ukraine.'"
It looks like they’re just going to blame Ukraine whenever anything goes wrong now, doesn’t it? It’s depressing to watch because while this administration will eventually leave office, a segment of Americans will keep hating Ukraine without even remembering why.
English

@DiEHARDnLA I think Luka/AR will play. Luka is trying to be in the MVP/All NBA hunt so he can't miss too many more games anyways.
English

I get LeBron sitting out today but there’s no way Luka and AR should be sitting this one out
Dave McMenamin@mcten
LeBron, Luka and Reaves all questionable tonight in Miami. Beyond the injuries, the team did not get to their hotel until the early hours of the morning - after 4 a.m. - once landing from Houston
