Well understood. Appreciate the color. My job restricts me from selling individual securities within 30 days of purchase (ETFs are excluded), which is why I tend to focus on ETFs. That constraint makes it challenging to find an attractive risk/reward setup with a tight stop without a good likelihood of being stopped out within that 30-day window. I take the gamble from time to time on higher timeframes where my stop has room.

Hi David, I’m mostly looking at the best individual beaten down tech names as I think there’s some opportunity on the horizon. I have some fundamental data points I like as well, not just technical. I also try not to get too married to sector charts… I’m more about treating each chart on its own merits. I like rangebound charts. 😊

Buy low : sell high technical analysis is just better. It really is. You get to front run all the relative strength gurus and their all time high scans. It’s especially useful when good areas of the market correct. True story. $SPY $SPX $QQQ $IGV
