NEW: 17 arrested after chaotic fights and violence during Cincinnati Reds Opening Day Cincinnati police arrested 17 people, ages 14 to 50, during unruly crowds and fights in downtown areas including The Banks, Over-the-Rhine, Fountain Square, and Washington Park on Opening Day. Shekwon Walker, 29, was charged with felony assault after charging an officer and brining him down. He also faces resisting arrest, obstructing official business, and disorderly conduct while intoxicated. His bond was set at $140,000. Other charges across the arrests included disorderly conduct, possession of weapons while intoxicated, failure to comply, assault, and resisting arrest. A 13-year-old girl was brutally beaten, kicked, and robbed by a group after the game started; she suffered a concussion and her attackers remain at large. High bonds were set in court to prevent recurrence.
