Probably a good time to remind everyone that the NCAA denied Tyon Grant-Foster a waiver to play this season after he missed two seasons due to cardiac arrest and now fellas who have logged NBA minutes are about to return to play college basketball. System is completely broken.

@CarterSever23 @andrewquinny He appealed and the NCAA denied his appeal. He then had to take the NCAA to court to get a temporary injunction which was granted by the judge to allow him to play. If NCAA had it their way he would not be playing.

@SKarrG0 Figured that was the case. Unfortunate that one of the potential 2-0 teams (like Michigan, Auburn, ISU, etc.) could get left out because they are playing significantly more difficult teams than someone like Kansas

@ZagTalk Everyone plays 2 games and the final day matchups gets decided based on records and tie breakers all across the board. There could be a 2-0 team that doesn’t make the finals or third place game, yes. Weird incentive to beat the crap out of every opponent late in games.

Somebody explain the structure of the Players Era Festival to me like I’m 5… A 6-team pod and three 4-team pods. Could end up with five 2-0 teams but seemingly only four spots in the “Championship” games. Does somebody get left out due to point differential?

“Winning it all” bubble is reserved for #1 ZRated team only. Not sure how that got confusing, but the whole point of the Z-Rating is for the #1 pre-tourney team to win it all. Duke/Purdue fell close to that in 24/25, respectively, but they are not in that bubble
