told a butch (jokingly) I am nothing but a hole for him and his ass responded “and I’d use you like one” …

@deaddarkskies @uwereallineed @sinustiddies It always happens even if someone is cis. It’s one of those things where no matter they’ll always be some sort of negative, but that negative is better to deal with when you get to identity with what you align as.

people be like "fuck gender norms" then have a break down at the thought of a lesbian using he/him or being outside of the typical binary

@deaddarkskies @uwereallineed @sinustiddies changing subject. And we as humans are the same way, we evolve in change over time but the issue is that because we prefer things to stay as we know it. It becomes harder to learn and grow as the world moves with and beyond us.

@deaddarkskies @uwereallineed @sinustiddies Yes it’s possible. Pronouns are simply something you as a person use to identify. A reasons we as humans struggle to understand things like these is due to the fact that we like structure and order, but things such as nature fail to fit into order due to it being an ever +

@deaddarkskies @uwereallineed @sinustiddies That would be a no. As butches have never been men. They’ve been very masculine women/nonbinary people. What people get confused about is the fact that he/him have never been exclusive for men to use, they’re just masculine pronouns for anyone to use.

@deaddarkskies @uwereallineed @sinustiddies Pronouns =/= gender. He/Him pronouns are masculine pronouns, not men pronouns. Butches have existed since the 1900s and continue to exist. And butches will always be women/nonbinary people.

@hv9413 @sinustiddies Online schooling exists, YouTube tutorials, recipes, educational content. It is more than possible to educate strangers on the internet. The fault lies at your ignorance, the very thing that quite literally continues to misguide you in this topic.

@Zarloopia @sinustiddies I don’t want you to educate me. You really need to go outside and touch some grass if you genuinely think that you can “educate” strangers on the fucking internet. But you’re American, I guess common sense isn’t really that common for you guys.

@hv9413 @ellies8fingies @sinustiddies He’s still a man because he’s a trans man. The part you’re getting stuck on is thinking that he/him is only exclusively for men to use. Which is false as they’ve always masculine pronouns, not men pronouns as those aren’t a thing.

@hv9413 @sinustiddies Pronouns don’t equal gender. This sort of thing is basic grammar. If you associate he/him with exclusively men. Then there’s no way to help educate you. Especially when I’ve already said explained to you how women who use he/him are still women.

@Zarloopia @sinustiddies But that doesn’t change the fact that being a lesbian is about NON MEN. Men equals = he/him, so you’re not a lesbian if you say your pronouns are HE/HIM. And being masculine doesn’t mean you’re a man neither. You can be masculine but still be a woman.

@Zarloopia @sinustiddies These new definitions are made up by people who refuse to be called straight for whatever reason. Wich is honestly weird because there’s nothing wrong with being hetero.
