@JesseCox In my opinion, the old Star Wars is dead. Disney has no connection to those old roots anymore. It started when they declared the expanded universe non-canon and started cannibalizing ideas from it. The Acolyte was the proof. Andor was good, but not enough to save them.

To be clear this article is a bit click bait and the concept of execs trying to hype something as important isn’t new - but my read on this is pretty clear. Disney brutalized a lot of the old fan base and rather than drag them back, they’re trying to onboard a younger, newer one.

We are livid!!! These tariffs were about rebuilding American manufacturing. They were about shifting from layoffs to hiring. From shrinking production to expanding shifts. From dependence on foreign supply chains to investing here at home. Striking them down risks slowing momentum in American industry and weakening investor confidence. If we are serious about economic growth, job creation, and long-term competitiveness, then Congress must act quickly to restore and strengthen tariff authority! American workers deserve policies that defend their livelihoods not policies that make it easier to outsource them!

President Trump will always put America’s national security and Americans first. And as I have said before, the President has multiple tools in his toolbox. Let’s be clear: the Court did not rule against this Administration’s tariffs. It only said IEEPA can’t be used to raise revenue. We will immediately shift to other proven authorities—Sections 232, 301, and 122—to keep our tariff strategy strong.
