Stolas being a classist is actually good for his character. He has lived in a sheltered, toxic, snobby environment, where treating imps like items was the norm. And Stolas clearly likes them, but has to learn to see them ALL as equal. It's a believable flaw to have for him.

a lot of discourse surrounding striker would stop if people stopped treating his s1 self as a separate entity from his s2 self and labelling it “norman reedus striker” as if he has no character outside of his VA “but he acts different” that’s called going through a character arc
