Yup, Call of Duty had this coming. Blaming content creators is self exposing your IQs, saying it’s “forced hate” is pure cope; there is ONE reason for this: Activision. You CANNOT release back to back games like this and expect your fanbase to remain interested when other games like Battlefield 6 are available. BF6 has a ton of issues right now but the foundation of that game doesn’t feel like “back to back” anything because there are no yearly releases for Battlefield. I was always told “hating” on the game does nothing but bring easy money and clicks and whatever; now you’re telling me that it’s enough to send COD from 1st to 7th (obv in combination with everyone else, not just me lol) To give COD some leniency, this data only tracks up to 2 weeks after launch. MAYBE things change with time and with all these sales going on. BO7 is ok. Not the worst game ever, but this is not surprising to me at all.

Well you’re entitled to your opinion man, I personally think it feels too similar, I think the UI is too identical, gunplay, movement (minus tac sprint, add wall jump), tiny face off maps again, graphical quality and settings, etc That’s not to say there’s no positives in this game, there’s a few good notable ones that I’m a big fan of like the camo progression system; but overall, people don’t want to spend $140 across BO6 and BO7 for both to feel too identical and one being the fix to the other
