This is what always happens with Pierre Poilievre. On April 21st he was asked what he thought about Erin O’Toole bring on Mark Carney’s new council. He said “It’s great.” He has always shown grace. He even recently said he wouldn’t trash talk the PM while in a different country. But then a few days later suddenly Erin O’Toole, who was CPC leader for 17 months, felt the need to publicly give Poilievre vague leadership advice about moderating his positions. And because Poilievre challenged a reporter to elaborate on their failed gotcha question based on O’Toole’s comments the media are all like “See how mean he is!??” Nevermind that Mark Carney once again acted dickish towards a female reporter as well. That interaction got zero coverage on the pundit panels.

This is not investment, it's Canadian assets being liquidated cheaply to foreigners because no one in Canada has the cash to be the highest bidder. Statistics Canada Table 36-10-0025-01 FDIC Q4 2025 Mergers and acquisitions 16.3 billions Retained earnings 7.2 billions Other 2.2 billions Table 36-10-0656-01 Other equity (actual investments, not acquisitions) 1.5 billions That's roughly $35 bucks per capita btw

@erinotoole @cbcasithappens @YouTube The Advisory Council should contain Conservative voices as @RonaAmbrose did on the last go round. However, this doesn't give you any reason to bash the Leader of Opposition just to stoke your ego. Shame on you, Sir.

Once again, only after Carney has clawed his way to a majority do the punditry question the deliberate lack of trade negotiations with the US "So we don't actually know what is happening, never mind, you know, happening behind closed doors and what's being traded or not." The CBC and MSM appear to have absolutely no interest in finding out why Carney (self declared great negotiator with Trump before) is avoiding trade negotiations And is she really saying "dragging the puck"? @althiaraj
cbcwatcher@cbcwatcher

Janice Charette, Canada's lead negotiator, is certainly sounding a different tone than Carney on the US "A hugely important thing, but important to keep in mind at the same time that we do actually have the very best trade deal of any of the major U.S. trading partners" @CdnChamberofCom

‼️NEW: left-wing CBC pundit cant hold back on Carney "he has a bit of an authoritarian streak and no one wants to say anything critical about him. I find it very troubling" Criticizes him for stacking committees with his fake floor crossing majority.

🇨🇦 Diana Fox Carney was never elected, but her footprint is everywhere: green finance, critical minerals, and ESG capital. It’s the perfect intersection of private wealth and public policy.🤔 It might not be illegal, but when the "national interest" perfectly aligns with personal networks, Canadians deserve answers. CBC panelist just said Canadians are excited about Mark Carney getting closer to China because we’re fed up with Trump. We’re seriously talking about turning our backs on our largest trading partner to cozy up to a regime famous for censorship, total state control, and brutal human rights abuses. Canada are we okay? 🇨🇦 What am I missing here?

My boyfriend and I are planning to buy a house together after dating for 3 years. He earns significantly more than I do, so he’d be contributing about 70% of the down payment. Because of that, he wants the house to be only in his name. He says it’s just “fair” based on the numbers, but we’d both be living there, splitting bills, and building a life together. I’ve been watching a lot of relationship content about equity vs equality, and it made me realize things don’t always have to be 50/50 but this feels like I’d have no security at all. He said if we ever broke up, he’d “do the right thing,” but that doesn’t really reassure me. My friends say don’t move in unless my name is on it. His friends apparently think I’m being entitled. Now I feel stuck between trusting him and protecting myself. Is this a red flag I’m trying too hard to rationalize?

Take a quick read. @MarkJCarney and his spouse have had as their agenda for many years moving Canada closer to Communists in China and away from the US. It’s all a smoke screen playing on your hate and f Trump so they and their financial beaters in China can benefit. Can you spell Brookfield? You are being played by the Carney’s.

Do read this piece from Diana Carney’s Canada 2020 project, featuring Dominic Barton and Senator Woo.
