🚨BREAKING: oracle fired 30,000 people by 6am email.. and in the same breath filed 3,126 H-1B visa petitions.. let me explain what's actually happening here.. an H-1B worker's visa is tied to their employer.. if oracle cuts them loose they have 60 days to find a new sponsor or leave the country.. they can't easily organise.. can't threaten to quit.. the visa is the leash.. oracle didn't just replace expensive workers with cheaper ones.. they replaced workers who could leave.. with workers who legally can't.. this isn't new.. disney did it in 2015.. made 250 american IT workers train their own H-1B replacements before severance cleared.. workers sued.. federal judge threw it out in 2016.. congress said nothing.. every corporate legal team in america saved that ruling to a folder.. oracle just opened the folder.. the H-1B visa was created in 1990 to fill genuine skill gaps america couldn't staff fast enough.. thirty-five years later it's the most elegant labour control mechanism ever written into law.. cheap workers AND workers who can't quit.. in one government form.. they told you AI was taking your job.. they meant it was giving them a better excuse.

🚨💣 Jose Mourinho goes nuclear on Enzo Fernández and the Chelsea situation 🔥 “You say Madrid is beautiful. Of course it is beautiful. Paris is beautiful. London is beautiful. But beauty does not win you titles. Mentality wins you titles. When I was at Chelsea, my players did not speak about other clubs. Why? Because they were too busy winning. You want Real Madrid? Real Madrid is not a holiday destination. It is pressure. It is history. It is responsibility. At Madrid, if you play one bad match, the fans whistle. Two bad matches, the media kills you. Three bad matches… you are finished. And now you are talking about them while your team is suffering? This is not leadership. This is distraction. You don’t flirt with another club when your house is on fire. First, you put out the fire. Less talking about Madrid. More playing like a Madrid player. Because right now? You are not there.”

No hollywood studio wanted to produce the passion of the Christ. Too risky. Too controversial. So Mel Gibson funded it himself, forming his own production company. He knew this would cost him everything. When casting Jesus, Mel warned Jim Caviezel: "If you do this, you will be rejected by hollywood." Jim took a day to pray. Then he called back: "We have to make it. I am 33. My initials are J.C." Mel paused. "You are scaring me." And hung up. What followed was the most brutal role in hollywood history. Caviezel lost 45 pounds, was struck by lightning twice, and whipped by accident leaving a 14-inch scar. He dislocated his shoulder and developed pneumonia and hypothermia from hanging on the cross for hours. Filming the crucifixion alone took 5 weeks. He later underwent two open-heart surgeries due to stress. Jim's goal was clear: “I didn't want people to see me. I wanted them to see Jesus. Conversions will happen through that." And they did. All over the world. The film grossed $611 million worldwide and became the most successful R-Rated film in history. But more than that, it brought christ's suffering to life and pierced hearts across the globe. Pedro Sarubbi, who played Barabbas, said of Caviezel: "His eyes had no hatred. Only mercy and love." He converted to Christianity. Luca Lionello, who played Judas, was a former Atheist. After filming, he became a christian and baptized his children. A muslim technician on set watched the filming... and gave his life to Christ. The passion of the Christ didn't just make headlines, it changed lives. It sparked conversations in hollywood, conversions in living rooms, and tears in theaters around the world. A film about his death led many to find true life.

Before filming The Passion of the Christ, Mel Gibson asked Jim Caviezel: “you still want to play..Jesus? If you do this, you may never work in this town again.” Then it hit him. “My initials are J.C., and I’m 33 years old.” Gibson replied, “God, you’re freaking me out.”

Saw that ad for an EA and just shook my head. Will never understand trying to get top-tier output on bottom-tier pay. You can’t demand excellence from people you don’t compensate properly. Nah It doesn’t work that way People who work/have worked with me may call me intense, tough, difficult etc and tbh, I’m fine with that. But one thing you’ll never call me is someone who underpays or owes people. If I expect the best, I pay for it. Simple as
