In April 2021, Serge Attukwei Clottey activated his installation, The Wishing Well, with a mask performance of “I’m Here to Stay” that aspired to connect communities in the Coachella Valley with his hometown of Labadi in Ghana. Watch the performance at desertx.org/learn/programs.
