@QuantumRiddle @BenYousef_E Football context differs With d example you gave right here, even Christians will tell you I am a child of God means omo olorun & i could remember in primary school days there was a rhyme that was carved out from it Which is why Islam teaches that some words not meant to be said

@_Hendrix231 @BenYousef_E I hate when people accuse me of something wrongly. Growing up, we used to banter "omo Olohun and omo esu" Talo n pariwo, ọmọ èṣù lo n pariwo. No one literally meant a child given birth to by esu. Except from our xtian brothers sha I gave a football example of the usage too

I am near certain this caption is from a lyric. These are the ways music affects you. Worse is, some people might know this is wrong and still sing it anyway. A Muslim who recites Al-Ikhlās every day attributing parenthood to Allah. Ma'ādhallaah. Wee need to be careful. NB: there is no joking about matters of aqeedah (Al-istihzā), lest one by one's own hands nullify their Islām.

@BenYousef_E Sometimes these words don't translate literally. Omo olohun used here simply means a believer. Just like in football terms, "omo man u ni mi". It doesn't mean Manchester United gave birth to me. I hope you get

This ehn🤧 I don too correct people for the masjid I do pray, they still continue to repeat Even a brother that always act as Muazzim sometimes Imam never finish surah fathia he already say Aameen, before imam complete Ruku or sujood or even say Allah Akbar he is already ahead
Distinguished Nurse@Sharafsaadsalau

When it is obvious you can't precede imam to saying tasleem during congregational prayers, why then do you move ahead of or alongside with him during other pillars/obligatory parts of solaat? Ehn why? Allow your imam to complete every act (bodily and wording) before doing yours

For some it stems from anticipating and predicting the Imam’s actions and timing. I have prayed with some people that predict when the Imam will leave ruku or go to sujud. They are always ready to go immediately the Imam makes any move, but whenever the Imam delays it a little bit or shake then they will end up going before the Imam.
