A big differentiator between the salmons we know and the spiralite islands salmonids could be that
Our existing salmons more resemble fresh water real life salmons
But the ones in the spiralite islands are in the ocean waters, even being coated in hardened salt/barnacles

@horizonsplatoon probably but we have to note that these are sockeye salmons and thats the why of their coloration, salmonids in splatoon 3 and splatoon 3 have been fucking already, specially in 3 with the big runs, why do you think theres so many golden eggs
