I dont understand why we are actually trending towards zones only. You’ll eventually just get bad at the other modes entirely and any important event uses all modes. (Lans and nintendo ran tourneys) I think sometimes we gotta put our big girl pants on and play clams idk

This is embarrassing no? We have people who said some absolutely disgusting things about people and we're trying to bring them back? Not only to just a regular tournament sure but a Nintendo Tournament which those lot had their names shunned out of the game itself due to the severity and disgusting they said. I'm going to be so real. You play with those lot you got a really high chance of winning the whole thing, while on top of that will be allowing the opportunity to plaster there names at the very top again. If you win you are going to be met not with congratulation you are going to be met with "Why are you playing with X person" "Are they not banned?" "Didn't this thing happen recently" and again you are putting that on Nintendo's Platform and it hasn't even been a year. That's just going to be so genuinely embarrassing not only for you but Nintendo and the ENTIRE Splatoon Competitive Community it makes us all look like dickheads. Its going to be act 2 of the shit storm that happened only 5 MONTHS AGO and i don't want to see that for you i don't want to see that for biscuit i don't even want to see that for even leafi and .q but at the same time for those two specifically there has to be consequences for their actions which currently i am sure they're still dealing with it. It saddens me because i've seen things like this happen in the competitive splatoon community before even during my "prime time" as a Top Player where you would have these disgusting people say similar things to what the jackpot members have said arguably even worse to me, they where also considered "high level players" one of which actually made an extremely disgusting poster of my good friend/gf at the time cropping her face on to a planets of the apes poster, which some thought was really funny. The community at the time did not punish these people some who where top players would still interact and continue to play with them even during Splatoon 2 while knowing some of the disgusting things they've done Even to go as far as saying that "There's nothing wrong with this person anymore LMAO" Why i bring this up is because jackpot members are currently being punished for what they did and that should be set as the example and the standard of "don't cross this fucking line or we won't associate or want you to play with in our Splatoon events." I personally thought as a black dude on the internet we where getting somewhere finally and i understand you to as a black dude on internet associate with these lot because you maybe personally friends them so you might see things differently. However, in my opinion its spit in the face to a lot of us and not only just colored people but good people too in the scene. Its like why do we even bother to speak our pain when as a community we give em a slap on the wrist for 5 months and bring em back anyway. If you ask me i think them lot need years of good actions and growing up before they even considering the fact of playing a tournament or event already. i'm not saying they can't stream/play the game, i just think they ALL need to grow up. Its like what even is the point, so at the end of the day. You do you. I know some people are probably to scared to say this but i don't think this a smart decision at all and it makes us all look like a complete joke. As a content creator i refuse to give any spotlight to the current competitive scene and any recognition to this because i think its going to only taint your own rep due what i just said "Why are you playing with X person" "Are they not banned?" "Didn't this thing happen recently" I expected better and i'm disappointed in you lot.

@pikadave465 I always prefer to put up aggro and take the first opening I find. If I go down early it's not that bad since I can jump back in and grab cooler anyways. There's always chance we all explode before I respawn but that's not something I can control as an aggro player.

Seabattle2! Was nothing short of amazing. I was behind the broadcasting desk for majority of the event so I didn’t get to take many photos, but the ambiance of the event was more than enough. The energy was immaculate and quad bamboo made top cut.

seabattle was probably the most fun i've ever had playing splatoon. genuinely one of the most fun and exciting days of my entire life up to this point, i'm so happy i went. shoutout to all of the people who came up and talked to me, exchanged words, etc. i was super nervous-

Seabattle 2 was my first time going to a LAN and it was an incredible experience. I wish there were more opportunities to experience this in our scene. Thank you so much to everyone who made the event happen, and everyone who came to play!

To literally everyone at SeaBattle: Today was so much fun and it was so great talking to you all and playing matches. You all made today a day that flies by but feels like it lasted forever in memory 💚 Hope I can come back next time with an all bamboo squad and go crazier 💪
