Seemingly, some positive news on Nikolaj Ehlers (lower-body) and Alexander Nikishin (concussion) from Rod Brind'Amour. "I'm hopeful that both guys will be ready (for Round 2)." The head coach specifically said, "Everything is trending in the right direction" for Nikishin.

@ZachCaniac Sens fan here and I think the surge is a great idea, most teams just head off the ice with a lifted stick. It gives a bit of connection with the fans and the kids at the boards who may get a stick from their favorite players. I think more teams should have traditions like this!

People saying the Carolina/Washington series is bland and unmatchable just don't like watching defensive hockey, and that's OK. But I will say that the reason Washington looks so bad at times is because Carolina is playing them so well. Pretty obvious. Enough of the analysts saying the opposing teams "just haven't gotten to their game yet" or "just didn't play a good game". Carolina won't let them. It's what the Hurricanes do! And also enough of the "wait until they play Toronto/Florida". Ya'll wait until Toronto/Florida play this Hurricanes team, we'll see what happens. If the Canes stay physical, get this kind of goaltending, and keep up the effort, they can win vs any team they play in these playoffs! #RaiseUp

@cbsguy63 @SunGarrioch I watch almost all games of the sens and I see stutzle fall all the time even just over his own feet. I feel like he's just less balanced on his skates than other players we see of his caliber. Also if the dive draws a penalty then it's a win. Same as if someone on the Habs did
